Data should help you care, not make home feel watched.

Auren uses first-person pet context, sound-derived signals, movement, rest, and location to create memories and finding support. This page explains the boundaries customers should see before launch.

Auren memory principle

Context is useful only when owners can see and control what is remembered.

Auren is designed around context and memory. Context means the current situation: pet-view image, sound cues, activity, rest, posture, indoor or outdoor route, and where the pet stayed. Memory means long-term understanding: routines, favorite places, safe zones, sound triggers, unusual changes, and which comfort actions seemed to help.

Not a raw archive

Auren should not default to long-term storage of complete video. The intended approach is key event clips, low-frame summaries, tags, and memory embeddings.

Human spaces matter

Pet-view image and audio may also capture rooms, visitors, family members, and conversations. Clear capture controls are part of the product experience.

Owner editing

Owners should be able to review, edit, disable, or delete what Auren remembers.

Image and video

Auren may capture first-person pet-view media for daily highlights, finding, and memory features. Product copy reserves space for a visible capture indicator and app controls for reviewing or deleting saved moments.

Audio-derived signals

Microphones may be used for scene understanding, vocal cues, and trigger detection. The recommended default is to avoid uploading complete human conversations and to prioritize local processing where practical.

Location and routines

Location, movement, rest, posture, routes, and safe-zone patterns may support finding mode and behavior baselines. Owners should be able to tune these permissions in the app.

Cloud memory

Cloud storage may support summaries, highlights, memory search, and account sync. Customers should be told what is stored, how long it is retained, and how to request deletion or export.

Commerce data

Shopify customer, order, payment, newsletter, and contact-form data are handled through Shopify and the store owner's selected service providers. Payment details are processed by payment providers, not by this theme.

Health boundary

Auren behavior cards are lifestyle context. They are not veterinary diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for professional care.

Shipping and pre-order

Launch terms should be clear before checkout.

If Auren opens preorders, the store should publish expected shipping windows, certification status, hardware inclusions, service-plan limits, cancellation routes, and regional delivery coverage before taking payment.

Expected timing

Use the product page and order emails to state the expected shipping window. If the timeline changes materially, notify preorder customers by email.

Hardware first

The first checkout should charge hardware only unless an optional recurring service plan is separately published, selected, and activated.

Cancellation

Customers should be able to request cancellation before fulfillment. Once shipped, refunds should follow the store refund policy and final device condition rules.

Customer requests

Customers can use the contact page for access, deletion, correction, marketing unsubscribe, preorder questions, refund routing, or account support.

Service tiers

Basic Cloud and AUREN Care can be described as planned service tiers only. They should not be automatically billed through the first hardware checkout unless final subscription terms are live.

Final legal review

This Shopify theme provides launch-ready content structure. Before collecting personal data or preorder payments, Auren should have the final privacy policy, refund policy, terms of service, and warranty reviewed for the selling regions.
