1. Information Covered by This Privacy Policy
Personal Information. This means any information that can be used to identify a specific natural person directly or indirectly, either in isolation or in combination with other information. Examples include your name, address, email address, phone number, payment information, device identifiers, and location data.

Such information cannot be used to identify you and therefore is not Personal Information.
Children's Personal Information. The Services are not directed to, nor does Auren Pet knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16 (sixteen), or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. If we are informed that we have collected the Personal Information of a child under 16, we will delete that information from our systems. If you believe we might have inadvertently collected Personal Information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at info@auren.pet.

5. Data Processing for AI & Pet Analytics
Auren Pet uses artificial intelligence to process data collected by your M1 device. Here is how that processing works:
- On-Device Processing: Interest detection, image capture triggering, and activity classification run primarily on the M1 device itself using edge AI. This means your pet's raw visual data stays on your device by default.
- Cloud Processing: Activity summaries, behavioral trend analysis, and AI health report generation may involve cloud-based processing. Only anonymized or aggregated metadata is used for model training and product improvement.
- Auren Care AI Reports: When you subscribe to Auren Care, your pet's activity and behavioral data is analyzed to generate personalized health insights and recommendations. This data is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and is only accessible by you through your account.
- Your Control: You can manage your data sharing preferences in the Auren app settings, including the ability to disable cloud-based analytics features. Note that disabling certain features may limit the functionality of Auren Care reports.
